Flocus Pro is now priced properly for wherever you are

A subscription priced only in US dollars is a subtly unfair product for most of the world. It's not that people elsewhere can't pay $9.99 a month — it's that $9.99 doesn't mean the same thing in every economy, and a flat USD price quietly prices out students in a lot of the places Flocus is supposed to be useful for.

We'd already done the harder half of this: pricing is set per territory in local currency, not run through App Store's default exchange-rate conversion at checkout. A student in India sees a price set for India, not a rupee conversion of a dollar figure decided somewhere else.

What we'd missed was availability. The subscription was only turned on for a handful of countries — everywhere else, the pricing existed but the product itself wasn't purchasable, which is a worse failure mode than bad pricing: the app would just look broken. That's fixed now. If your country has an App Store or Play Store, Flocus Pro should be available in it, priced for it, not just for three countries we happened to set up first.

The free trial exists everywhere the subscription does. If a real tutor where you live runs a certain amount an hour, that's still the honest comparison worth making — a subscription should cost less than a coffee a week, not less than a coffee a week in San Francisco specifically.
