How Flocus builds a profile of how you learn

"Personalized learning" gets used loosely enough that it's worth being specific about what Flocus actually does with it.

Every teach-back answer, every practice session, and every moment you hesitate or get something wrong feeds into a running picture of how you learn: what kind of explanation clicks for you, which topics you've solidly locked in, which ones you've gotten right before but shouldn't be too confident about yet, and whether your pace through new material tends to be fast, moderate, or benefits from more repetition.

That picture isn't a personality quiz you fill out once. It's built from what you actually do in sessions, and it updates as you go. The tutor uses it to decide things like how much to slow down on a topic, when to circle back to something you got right but shakily, and how to frame an explanation that's more likely to land for you specifically.

The goal isn't a dashboard of stats for their own sake — it's a tutor that remembers you between sessions the way a long-running human tutor would, instead of starting from zero every time.
